Thanks to the new LT6 5.5-litre naturally aspirated V-8, expect the new Super Vette to deliver 615 horsepower and 490 lb-ft or torque.

That will put the new C8 Z06 on par with the 562 hp Ferrari 458 Italia.

The new Corvette is expected to sticker for a starting price of $85000, one third of the Ferrari's $239,000 buy in.
