Dodge announced an extension of its partnership with Tony Stewart Racing (TSR) Nitro, continuing to field two nitro-burning entries—Top Fuel and Funny Car—in the National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) Mission Drag Racing Series. Since its inception in 2022, this collaboration has achieved remarkable success, including 15 NHRA national event wins and the 2023 NHRA Mission World Funny Car Championship by Direct Connection Dodge//SRT Hellcat driver Matt Hagan. In 2024, Tony Stewart himself will take the seat of the TSR Direct Connection Dodge//SRT Top Fuel car, replacing his wife, Leah Pruett, who is stepping away to start a family.

Stewart's entry into the NHRA has been nothing short of spectacular, adding drag racing to his impressive racing resume, which includes NASCAR, IndyCar, and USAC championships. His two-car operation, supported by Dodge, has been a dominant force since 2022. The partnership has not only strengthened TSR's competitive edge but also reinforced Dodge's legacy in NHRA competition. With Matt Hagan, a four-time Funny Car champion, and Leah Pruett, an 18-time NHRA event winner, Dodge's alliance with TSR continues to symbolize excellence and innovation in drag racing.
