Dodge says the days of the supercharged Hellcat engine are limited, but Hellcat performance will live on in electric motors.
In a recent interview with CNBC, Dodge honcho Tim Kuniskis said, "The days of an iron block supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 are numbered. They’re absolutely numbered because of all the compliance costs. But the performance that those vehicles generate is not numbered."
So will we see electrified Hellcats tearing up the strip and street? You can count on it and it may happen quicker than you think.
