Dodge returns to the number one position for muscle-car production in 2022, regaining the lead from Ford and proving to Chevrolet that a '60s playbook works as well today as it did for them back in the day.
So far this year, Dodge has churned out a total of 42,094 Challengers, compared to the Ford, which built 36,598 Mustangs.
If Dodge's lead continues, it will crown the Challenger as America's best selling muscle car two years running.
Oh, the Chevrolet Camaro? Its days of being a contender appear over. It has been in a distant Third-place all year.
