Ending the sixth generation and moving into the seventh generation of America's pony car will allow Ford to introduce hybrid and electric powertrains to the Mustang, although those advancements will likely occur later in the decade. For now, the six-cylinder and eight-cylinder engines from the 2023 Mustang will carry over.
Fordauthority.com reports the Mustang will feature a new interior sporting a flat-bottom steering wheel, a new digital instrument cluster design, and a larger infotainment screen.
2024 is sixty years since the Mustang was introduced in April, 1964. The Mustang is currently the only passenger car Ford produces for the American market.
