Should GM Build a Mid-Engine Cadillac Two-Seater?
Raise your hand if you're a fan of the Cadillac V series and great performers like the CTS-V and new CT5-V Blackwing! (We're raising our hand. How about you?)

With folks buying as many C8 Corvettes as Chevy can crank out, should GM also build a mid-engine Cadillac two-seater wearing a V Series badge.

Looking back a decade or so ago, you may recall the Cadillac XLR and XLR-V, some terrific two-seater Cadillacs that looked good then and look just as good now.

Our friends at GMAuthority.com have been exploring the idea of a mid-engine Cadillac and it shares styling cues with the XLR-V of yesteryear. But, instead of the persnickety Northstar engine, the latest generation of the Chevy small-block, now called the GM small block, would make this hypothetical Cadillac a real rockstar for those who prefer the luxury and comfort that Cadillac could bring to the Corvette C8 architecture.

Build it? Heck yes. Build it!
