Ford's Iconic Shelby Mustang Gets The Heritage Treatment
Raise your hand if you're a fan of the color Brittany Blue, the hue which appeared on the 1967 Ford Mustang G.T. 500.

For 2022, Ford is going retro with a Heritage Edition Mustang GT500, which brings that iconic hue back from the muscle car's first era.

The Heritage Package includes Wimbledon White stripes (another classic hue from the Mustang's first-generation!)

And for those well-heeled buyers who must have every option available, Ford will paint the stripes onto the Shelby for you for an additional $10K.

One main area Ford didn't go retro is in the power department. The original '67 big-block Shelby Mustang churned out 355 horsepower. The new 2022 Shelby Mustang delvers 760 horsepower, more than twice that of the original.
