Well-To-Do Race Teams Get Turnkey Z06 with GT3 Specs ... in 2024
Chevrolet is feeling good and it wants race teams to feel even better.

Starting in 2023, teams can purchase a turnkey Z06 with GT3 specs, making it eligible for series such as IMSA, as well as FIA and SRO-sanctioned GT3 competitions.

The arrival of the Corvette Z06 GT3.R in 2024 will mark the first time Chevy is offering a turn-key, customer-focused racing Corvette for competition use, said Mark Stielow, Chevy’s Director for Motorsports Competition Engineering.

Unlike the street version of the upcoming Z06, the GT3.R will not be street legal. In fact, it may not even carry a VIN number.

You'll have to show Chevrolet more than a cool set of driving goggles to purchase one. Only verified race teams in GT3 contests will get the green light to buy one.

The price?

Well, you know what they say. If you have to ask, you probably can't afford it!
