Cadillac CT5-V Make Semi Finals ... Will it Win Car of the Year?
For decades, there's been no bigger feather in manufacturers' caps than winning the various Car of the Year (COTY) awards that organizations and magazines hand out.

Well, it's time for new 2022 vehicles to bask in the glory and the brand-new Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing has made the elite list for the North American Car, Truck and Utility Vehicle of the Year Awards.

It is the only domestic vehicle to make the semi-finals and now must do its best to beat out the Audi A3, Genesis G70, Honda Civic, Mercedes-Benz EQS, Mercedes-Benz S-Class, VW Golf and all-electric Lucid Air.

"NACTOY semi-finalists are chosen by a jury of 50 journalists from print, online, radio and broadcast media across the U.S. and Canada. Jurors vote three times during the year to reduce the list of eligible vehicles down to semifinalists, finalists and, finally, winners. This year’s NACTOY award winners will be announced in January during an event hosted by the Detroit Auto Dealers Association in Detroit." (Source: GMAuthority.com)
