2023 Corvette Z06 Reveal is October 26
It's confirmed. The eighth generation of the Corvette will see a high-performance Z06, continuing a generational tradition going back 60 years.

The big reveal is on October 26.

The first Z06 was actually an option package first offered with the 1963 Corvette. The package was developed by Corvette’s legendary lead engineer and racing advocate Zora Arkus-Duntov. The Z06 option was designed to allow consumers to bolster the 1963 Split-Window Corvette's performance and handling capabilities for use on the race track. (Source: Corvsport.com)

Horsepower is expected to come in around the 615 mark, putting it 120 ticks higher the current C8 Z51 at 495 horsepower. The engine nomenclature is the LT6. An eight-speed dual-clutch transmission will be standard and no manual-shift will be offered.

To show how far things have progressed in 60 years, a 1963 Z06 retailed for $4,250 or $38,184.50 today when adjusted for inflation.

Expect the new Corvette Z06 to set well-to-do buyers back $100,000 on up when it is released in Fall 2022.
