Will the Very Last Gasoline-Powered Ford GT Get the Godzilla V-8?
Ford is testing a new Ford GT with the 7.3L Godzilla V-8 engine. Will this monster V-8 see production?

Here's what we know.

Ford is treating the streets of Detroit to sights of a prototype GT and witnesses claim that the engine is not the production twin-turbo 3.5L EcoBoost V-6.

With new EPA approved exhaust, a new engine appears to be certain and Ford Authority says the 7.3L Godzilla V-8 will fit in the GT's engine bay.

If Ford is truly coming out with a Godzilla-powered GT, it better hurry as GT production is scheduled to end in less than two years.
