Rush Drummer's Silver Surfers Car Collection Up for Grabs
If you were a kid in the 1970s or 1980s, the band Rush needs no introduction.

Drummer Neil Peart's "Silver Surfer" cars, as he called his collection, goes up for auction in Monterey, California, next month.

Peart, you may recall, passed away in January 2020.

As is the case with many car collectors, their significant others' didn't share their passion, so selling off the cars seems to be the norm, not the exception.

Peart's collection, shown here, included two prime examples of Americana, a Shelby Cobra and a '63 Corvette. Rounding out the for-sale collection include a 1970 Lamborghini Miura P400 S, a 1965 Maserati Mistral Spider, a 1964 Aston Martin DB5 and a 1964 Jaguar E-Type.

You can learn more at www.goodingco.com/auction/pebble-beach-2021/ but don't be in a rush, the auction doesn't start until August 13th.
