Hi, my name is Aleah Eppihimer and I am 11 years old. I live in Mechanicsville, VA. I was born in PA and fell in love with racing when my grandparents took me to watch the PA Posse Sprint Cars. my favorite driver is Freddie Rahmer. I also like watching Donnie Schatz and Wayne Johnson. I race USAC quarter midgets. The closest USAC quarter midget track to my house is 4 hours away. My home track is North Carolina Quarter Midget Association (NCQMA) in Salisbury, NC. This will be my second-year racing. Most kids get started in quarter midgets when they are 5-6 years old. I started when I was 11 years old, so I am racing against kids with a lot of experience. Despite this disadvantage I am learning and improving every race as a driver. In rookie I earned several wins and even some track records for setting fast time. My grandfather is a retired Super Sportsman Driver, he helps me with my cars. My parents and grandmother also support me in my racing career. I race every other weekend. Last year I started in rookie division before moving to Senior Honda. This year I will be racing in Senior Honda and Light 160. I am excited to start in Light 160 because the cars are faster. Gaining additional sponsorship would allow me to race more often, upgrade equipment and hopefully enter more National level events. This year I would really like to race in Indiana and South Carolina. I'm also hoping I have the opportunity to race dirt this year as I have only ever raced on pavement.
