38 year old diesel generator mechanic and father of 2 that started racing Formula Vee 5 years ago. I now race both vintage VSCDA and current SCCA FVs, doing all my own prep, rebuild and paint work in a small (unheated in the winter) garage. My dad and uncle started open wheel road racing FV in the late 70s, so it's nice to finally get on track, I've been waiting my entire life. They created Styczynski Motorsports in 1977 and later commissioned the Styczynski Challenge Cup to be awarded to the most successful Styczynski of the season. I recently restored the Cup and revived the tradition. I enjoy spending about 30 hours of prep work for every hour on track because I absolutely love being at the track surrounded by people who have the same passion and dedication.
