My Name is Tanner Danley aka T-Bone and I am 10 yrs old... I live in South Alabama, I started off racing karts at 5 yrs old. I now just this yr started racing a Slingshot By Tobias… We run them on a 1/4 to 3/8 mile dirt oval. A Slingshot is a tube chassis, full roll cage, rear swing arm 4 wheel coil over shocks race car that resembles a big block modified. It is powered by a (Sealed) 39HP V-Twin engine that run on Methanol. I am a 3rd Generation driver as my Dad and PawPaw use to do. My Dad put his racing on the back burner when I started racing karts. I ran karts for 4 yrs and was very successful in the short time winning 3 track championships in the rookie red division. Our local track shut down and it was time for a change. We have entered 4 events this yr in the slingshot, our first two outings we did not get to make a lap sure to parts failure. 3rd race we had a 4th place finish and our last race we had our best night so far. Picking up the heat race win and a 2nd place feature. The slingshots are a lot different than a kart and requires a lot of maintenance. We could definitely use the help in any way..
