Josh started racing when he was 8 years old at an indoor go kart track in Allentown, Pennsylvania. The last year racing in that league, he won the championship. Barry Motorsports was established in 2017 when Josh, then 17 years old, began racing World Formula Microstocks at Wall Stadium in Wall Township, New Jersey. After several races into his first season, Al Puntasecca was impressed with his racing skills and asked Josh to join his Modified Microstocks team to race one of his cars in addition to racing his own car. Josh ended up winning Rookie of the Year both in World Formula Microstocks and Modified Microstocks that year. Josh never finished a season outside the top 5 in points in both the World Formula and Modified Microstocks. Josh won the 2021 World Formula Microstock championship. For the 2023 season, Josh is moving up to the 4 cylinder Fast Four Division which will be racing Saturday nights at Wall Stadium. Since Josh was little, he had a goal to race Saturday nights. He is looking forward to this new opportunity and chapter in his racing career. Josh is eagerly anticipating his Rookie season in the 4 cylinder Fast Four Division and has high aspirations of winning.
