Andrew Coates.
I am a Senior at LaPorte High School. I played football but my desire is racing. I started racing at the South Bend Motor Speedway when I was 15 in the Hornet division. Last year I moved up the the Street Stock division in the 01 Midwest Medal Products, JJ's Side Out Bar and Grill, Michiana Mechanical, Kenco Plastics and Mofield Properties race car. Last season I was Rookie of the Year, and finished second in points behind the 2 time track champion. After I graduate I will be attending Purdue University to study Mechanical Engineering.
