Selling our much loved and refurbished Wolfsburg Vanagon (White Cloud-Nalu)
This manual transmission vanagon has been a labor of love, as we stripped down and took the best parts from our blue 1987 vanagon (Nalu) and moved them to this newer white vanagon (White Cloud).
Swapped engine, dash, door panels, rear seat and bed and all exterior lenses, grill, handles, locks etc. New shocks, water pump, shifter lifters, thermostat, clutch, radiator & battery. Swapped fuel tank and system and radiator long cooling tubes.
Stripped down to metal and cleaned entire car, added stellar soundproofing, laminate flooring and removable carpet behind front seats. New carpet and lloyd mats in front and between front seats.
New paint job, trim and pin stripe plus new bumpers and minor repair to rear panel on drivers side and passenger back wheel well.
New curtains, bed cover to match back panels in bed surround, new headlight kit from van cafe along with 3 rd brake light for safety and a glove box organizer a plus.
Solid engine, in last 500 miles, rebuilt fuel injection digifant system and exhaust system including:
new AFM, new distributor and halls sender, O2 and H20 temp. sensors, new catalytic converter, new, muffler & tail pipe, exhaust leaks repaired and tested. New fuel filter, charcoal emission canister, and spark plugs.
New Electrical wiring, cap, rotor and wires within last 8 k miles
A/C conversion to 134 and rebuild and new tires just 10 K ago.
New rebuilt front and rear suspension including front and rear bearings around 12 k ago.
New Starter and refurbished battery 300 miles ago.
All records of work we've done and a bit from previous owner like new front brakes when we bought the van. Clean title, mechanically sound! 206k overall.
