Just feeling out the interests for #PurpleRain.
I'm not all that excited to see it go but would like to shift my focus to an overlander/camping rig.

1979 Porsche 911sc Targa / 3.0L flat six. 915 gear box. All stock.

Almost 30k invested in adjusting the motor train. Drives amazing. Lot’s of fun details like a period correct cassette player with auto sync BT. Custom modern LED headlights from ‘flat6illumnation’ with day time halo rings and yellow ring turn indicators. If you know anything about the factory lighting on these models then you know that they are terrible at night and need a modern touch. Although I have the og headlights as well and those have decent halogens if you wanted to revert to stock.

Carbone AC/center console delete with wireless charger. Center console on those models are useless and the cubby is extremely difficult to get to while driving. This upgrade kills 2 birds with one stone.

All rear, side and break lights replaced with modern Led bulbs( aside from 3rd break light) and what a difference it makes during day light driving. Huge safety upgrade. Including the gauge instrument cluster lighting which now is viable in the day time as well.

Momo Mod7 steering wheel with yellow center stripe that matches the yellow sticker on starter ignition ring , with Porsche center horn button.

Motor is 100% stock and has been adjusted and dialed in perfectly by Chris at Church of The Air-Cooled in North Beach. Have all paperwork and history for all the work he’s done and other shops including a stack from previews owners.

Currently has a catless exhaust from Fabspeed and sounds amazing. Have the stock exhaust and cat for smog checks.

Custom/rare purple paint from previous owner. Honestly I hated it at first but starting to really lean into it as it’s fairly rare for g models. I believe prior to the purple color it was red . Original paint is also a rare factory paint- to-match ‘Reseda Green’ which was only designated for the 928s. If you ever decided to go back to og factory paint I think it would be pretty rare and valuable. Turbo 930 style rear deck lid.
16 in Fuchs with matching purple inlay paint. New Michelin tires.

AC removed ( don’t need it in the Bay Area and would take away at least 7hp from motor anyway). Have all the original parts. Custom 3 point rear seatbelt install I did for my kid to be able to sit in the back.

Drivers seat is pretty worn and would need to be adjusted. I have swapped the passenger seat ,which is in great shape, with the drivers for a temp fix and a comfy ride since I mostly only drive alone, until I settle on a new set of seats. Rear seats are in good shape.

Car is ‘79 and shows some wear on interior components due to being 42 years old. Dash has some warping and other areas need a little TLC, but again common for the age of the vehicle.
Lot’s of extras and original parts.I’m sure I’m forgetting something but contact me for me details and we can chat.

Also may consider trade + cash for total value if you have a Mitsubishi Delica Van in great condition with all the problems sorted.
