1988 Cadillac Allante, 2nd year production of a limited run of luxury roadsters . Previous owner purchased and enjoyed this car several years but recent health issues resulted in the car sitting for approximately 4 years before his passing. We put a new battery in and it fired right up with no smoke or engine noises.Replaced a leaking power steering pump and installed the optional hardtop. Selling for the family who cannot keep and maintain. This cars major mechanicals are in good working order. Car runs well and could be enjoyed while performing any restoration. The instrument cluster is not working at this time but the mileage is close to 100k based on some records of past . Found a document that states the engine was replaced in 2001 with an engine with only 1000 miles before it was sold to the family. Body is great with zero rust, paint shines but has some visible defects from sitting. Interior is fairly nice but needing various trim replaced ( shifter bezel , sun visors, passenger power seat motor)
