This is a 1948 CallAir snowplane SN 123 Model YC4-2. Built 8-1948 for the Wyoming game and fish department as part of a government contracts for wildlife research and management programs alongside the US postal service routes in and around Yellowstone and grand Teton National Parks. Remained in the service well into the 1970's . Sold as Surplus to the game Worden that operated it . Several years ago it was returned to the Call family that originally owned the factory it was built in and underwent a 3 year historical restriction. It is fully functional and is of museum quality. Open for a public sale for a limited time . Sale includes historic educational opportunities and operational training. As well as future support to continue it's historical journey in a public and private setting. . Not a one of a kind but historically valuable and few remain in operational condition.
