This 1979 Porsche 911SC coupe was rebuild of its flat-six engine consisted of an increase in displacement to 3.2 liters as well as installation of two triple-choke PMO carburetors, an RSR flywheel, and other components. Additional modifications include lowered and corner-balanced suspension with Bilstein dampers, racing bucket seats and harnesses, a roll bar, chassis bracing, and more. Shifting is through a five-speed Type 915 manual transaxle with a limited-slip differential.
The car was finished in Grand Prix White (908) from the factory, and a glass-out repaint was reportedly performed under previous ownership. Modifications include aftermarket valances, with the front featuring brake cooling ducts and the fiberglass rear installed in 2019. The sunroof was also rebuilt and the rear window replaced under current ownership.
The ride height has been lowered over silver-anodized 16″ Fuchs wheels wearing Toyo Proxes tires that were installed in 2018. Suspension modifications include Bilstein dampers, 22mm front and 27mm rear torsion bars, and adjustable 22mm sway bars as well as welded RSR-style rear strut tower reinforcements. 930 tie rods have also been fitted. An alignment and corner balancing were performed in 2018 along with replacement of the brake booster vacuum pump.
Racing bucket seats feature adjustable headrests and Sabelt five-point harnesses mounted to a roll bar that has taken the place of the rear seats. Rennline floor trays protect the floors up front, and new carpet was installed in the rear compartment. RS-style door panels feature pull straps and manual window cranks.
