Good Day To All...

I have for sale, a 05 BMW 325 XI– AWD Stage Rally Race Car with 80392 original miles. In its entire race car life, it has been in one (1) race and it was a very minor one put on by Northwestern Rally Association. If you were to Google 05 bmw 325xi for sale, you would see pictures about this particular Bimmer. There was even a review, of sorts written about this particular rally car.
The mileage is the real deal. the reason for such low miles is simple. The first owner of its (race car) life was a gentleman who worked as a chief engineer for one of the big car makers. he was transferred and for whatever reason did not take the car with him. He sold it to the next owner (owner number 2) who is a retired champion dragster guy from Australia, he also lives in Arizona. Owner number 2 also had an airplane hanger and that's where the car was stored, right next to the airplane. Owner number 2 also had a life-changing event.
Then of course came owner number 3. That's me. I bought and had it shipped up here to the great northwest. I bought it with the idea of racing locally with my son while he was going thru high school. we (son and me) were able to put into one single race and make a few practice runs. A few weeks later Pandemic hit and lockdown began. Other than that It has been in my garage since then. Because of the pandemic, paths have changed, goals have changed. The Bimmer does not fit in that future.
Since I have had her in my care I have added gauges for Oil Psi, Oil Temperature, Water Temperature, Volt Gauge, And the all-important, Transmission Temperature gauge There are two that are "Glow Shift", and two that are "Dragon Gauge". Both are good names. I wanted to compare the two brands. It has a hydraulic handbrake to the rear wheels. It is plumbed through the control block. I did not plumb (cut) into the brake lines. I did it this way so I could change later if I wanted to.
Skid plates. please let me be clear here. When I say that it has full skid plates, what I am saying is, all the vital areas underneath are covered. This is NOT to say that there is one skid plate from LoL "Stem To Stern" as one person put it.
I,m pretty sure that running a skid plate from "Stem To Stern" would cover the exhaust system and that's kind of a bad thing. Even I knew that, and I'm as green as you can get. I installed (with rely) Chelhead LED Driving Lights. They are 25W 6000K. They are very bright and very durable.
The Interior was unfinished. not a lot, just some cosmetic work left undone by the man who was inspired to begin this build. My feeling is that the 2nd owner, gentleman number 2 did not do anything to continue the build. however, he did store it under the best conditions. An airplane hanger in Arizona is as good as it gets for storing autos and planes. on the interior, all I really did was, add some trim to finish out the dashboard and put padding on the roll cage. I also installed a programmable ham (Radio) transmitter. I have noticed that some race venus were using hams to communicate. as for Driver, Co-driver communications I put in the "Terra Trip Clubman" with dual volume control. You can even plug your cell phone into it if you so desired. It has simple snow tires (clits removed) on 16' stock BMW wheels. It has a glass pack battery that can withstand the ruff ride. I put in a new windscreen as the old one was cracked pretty bad. I bought new lenses for the headlights.
Seat harness. they are Corbeau and Installed around Feb 2016 and will need to be recertified, It has Corbeau seats, please note, that the belts are not frayed or sunbleached and they look and feel as if they are brand new. it has a new water pump and a new alternator and a new belt there is a new radiator and condenser. All are OEM . And speaking of OEM, ABS. The ABS system is active and working. I have NOT disconnected it. You may bypass the system by manually pushing the little button located on the dashboard. it is recommended by the peanut gallery to NOT disconnect the system. BMW wiring is finicky.
This Bimmer was built to be a Stage Rally car. Through acts of fate, she has not had the chance to prove herself yet. The Drivetrain does still remain unmolested as does the wiring. My contribution to this build has been putting in the necessary gages, Adding some lights. (front and rear) I also put on 4 tires plus a spare. I put the very crucial Skid Plates on. And as I said before, the car has been in one race and a few practice runs. The plats have not budged or loosened one bit. she is virtually turn-key.
The following is a list of what was done in the build. as I said before " if you wish to see more about this Rally car,
Google 05 BMW 325xi for sale". It has some pretty detailed pictures in the writeup
