You're looking at a very nice. low-mileage 1961 Chrysler Newport with push-button automatic and factory A/C. Car underwent a cosmetic restoration about 2 years ago. It's always been a garaged west coast car. It grew up in California, then moved to Nevada 5 years ago, then followed me to Washington State last year. No rust anywhere, perfect floors, original headliner and door panels. I have the rear view mirror for it, which is in mint condition, rechromed, if you want it. I chose not to install it since the dash always cracks where the mirror is.
Engine has all new freeze plugs, A/C service, new brakes, new OEM power booster, new battery, belts and hoses, tuned, oil changed, and is ready for the road. You can barely feel the transmission shift gears, and the engine is quiet as a mouse. I spent a ton of money on the restoration, and have all receipts, plus a whole folder of receipts from the previous owner. The original keys look like they were never used, and the owner's manual is still in the plastic. Comes with lots of parts too, like gauges, headlight switches, bunch of other stuff. I had the original electroluminescent box rebuilt. Dash lights are working nicely. Radio does not work. Previous owner had a stereo under the dash. It's gone, but I never hooked the radio back up. He did say it worked perfectly, but I can't guarantee that.
You won't be disappointed. I can't enjoy it because of where I live, so it's just sitting in the garage. I will help with shipping logistics, but car will not be released without full payment of course. If you have any questions, feel free to call me at (564) 202-0181. Only interested buyers please - I don't need help selling my car, so no sales people.
