This Vintage MGA is a real Eye Catcher with Attractive Red Steel Dash, Wood Trim, Contrasting Black Interior
This is a good solid car, runs & drives well is in overall good condition, with lots of new parts
The MGA was developed & debuted in1955 as Britain's entry to World Sportscar Championship
It was designed as a high performance SportsCar to set records in the pioneering world of Glamour, Endurance & Speed Racing.
MGA competed in the Historic Le Mans race of 1955 & placed well, against a field of Mercedes, Maserati, Jaguar, Aston Martin, Ferrari, etc.
In a field of 60 cars, MGAs placed 5th & 6th beating a wide range of famous German, Italian & French cars
The MGA continued developing its speed, performance, handling standards & today is still an Icon in History of British racing Sportscars along with Austin-Healey & Triumph TR series
(In 1952, The MG Car Co merged with Austin Motor Co so the cars were almost identical except different badges ie ”badge engineering”)
