Picked this 1974 VW Karmann Ghia up last summer on a sale/trade. It was - is an unfinished project. All bodywork and paint were done and it needed some wiring and interior work. All the wiring - Brand New Wiring Harness, Brake Work, and Engine Work done; interior needs complete. She drives, runs, shifts, stops, and goes fine, can drive if you want while completing it. A lot of work has been done and some nice extras come with it. 5 Empi Spoke, Powder Coated wheels on new rubber. All the glass is good, great pans, paint shows nice.
I'm probably not going to have the time to finish it, so offering it to someone who will, not a "Need to Sale" but willing to sell.
I have done some clean-up work preparing the interior for panels and carpet.
Have two nice seats that can be used "As Is" or reupholstered.
A lot of Gia here for the price and work needed is simply assembly.
I have the title of the previous owner signed, and the document ready to go; haven't transferred it into my name simply because I need to drive it to the DAV and have them verify the VIN and haven't done that this she's been in the garage all winter. May do that before this sale but if not all the paperwork is ready for transfer to whoever buys it.
I have many, many pics showing the car very well, interior, exposed pans, engine, harness, etc.
This is a Great Buy for someone who wants, and knows Ghias; Finished this would easily be a $15K Classic, and not much to finish her.
Willing to help out on the buy with a partial trade taken in; another classic VW, MC, Boat; let me know what you have so I don't have an empty back garage but can work on it when I fill like it.
This Ghia is far too completed, nice for me to have it sitting back there.
