Replica Porsche 917 known as "Laser 917" based on a Volkswagen beetle chassis. manufactured by "elite enterprises inc" firm in 1970's out of Minnesota.
Laser 917 was engineered to bolt easily to an unmodified VW Beetle. It was designed to be powered by your choice of a VW, Porsche, or Corvair engine. There were about 2000 Laser 917 kit cars sold and only about 200 on the road today.
this one is one owner car. stored since 1983 bears original california blue plates. The rebuilt vw flat 4cyl engine with turbo is out of the car and sitting on a crate. as well as transmission Over $7k worth of new suspension parts brand new in box was ordered may of 2021 was never installed. the kit includes parts for suspension and braking system.
