My name is Tyler Prenesti, I’m 22 years old and I'm from Key Largo, FL. Currently I'm a recent graduate from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University continuing my education. I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Science and I'm currently a Flight Instructor in New Smyrna Beach. Aside from my studies, I get to fulfill my passion and continue my families legacy by racing all over central Florida in the Super Stock and Pure stock race series. I'm a third generation driver, following the footsteps of my Uncle and Grandfather before me. I race at tracks including, but not limited to New Smyrna Speedway, Citrus County Speedway, Bronson Speedway, and Orlando Speed-World. My Uncle started our families tradition in the early 80s down in Miami, he went on to travel the state racing anything from streetstocks to Superlate models throughout his career. He got my Grandfather into racing during the early 90s. He stayed in the purestock class with his 1977 Camaro. Unfortunately in 2008, he had a stroke which stopped him from being able to race. So his car sat for many years in the backyard, until the day came when I was ready to take the reins and start racing. We slapped brakes on this old car that we pulled out of the weeds and brought it to the track. That's when I began my racing career in 2015 in a full sized stockcar. That same car is the car I proudly drive today. It has 45 feature wins, 4 of which I've been able to add to the list. We also got a podium finish at the 2020 World Series of Asphalt Stockcar Racing in only my third race at New Smyrna. Other than my grandfather's car, I was able to have the opportunity in 2020 and early 2021 to race a Pro Truck. We picked up one unofficial win in the truck my first night out.
